Moldovan leadership has discussions with ambassadors

The country's leadership today had discussions with ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps on steps which Moldova had taken to move closer to EU accession.

“Along with President Maia Sandu and Parliament President Igor Grosu, we discussed with ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps about the important steps that Moldova had taken to move closer to EU accession. We are on the right path and it is up to all of us to continue on this common road, which provided all Moldovans with three essential things: peace and safety, national stability and unity, economic development and welfare,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The PM emphasized that state institutions were making efforts for Moldova to become an EU member state not in 10 or 20 years, but within the next four years.

“It will not be easy, but neither impossible. We will succeed through internal unity and external solidarity,” added Dorin Recean.
