Prime Minister urged citizens to attend events on 9 May

Prime Minister Dorin Recean today invited all citizens to participate in the events due to be organized on 9 May, when Moldova marks Victory Day and Europe Day.

“In closing the cabinet meeting, I have a message to the citizens. On 9 May we commemorate 80 years since the end of one of the bloodiest wars in Europe. Also on 9 May peace began on the European continent, which we celebrate today. To mark this day, we will organize several actions. I invite all citizens to participate in events throughout the day,” Recean said.

The events dedicated to 9 May will start in the morning, with a flower-laying ceremony at Eternity Memorial Complex. Later, at 1:00 PM, the European City will be inaugurated on the Great National Assembly Square.

“All my colleagues, ministers will be there, in PMAN. We invite you to have a discussion, to ask questions, to have an exchange of views about what is happening and how we can build our life together, here, at home,” Recean said.

The day will conclude with a concert organized in PMAN, which will start at 7:00 PM.
