Prime Minister Vasile Tofan has had a phone conversation with his counterpart from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten. The discussions focused on advancing Moldova’s path toward European Union accession and developing the bilateral economic cooperation.

The PM highlighted Moldova’s interest in attracting more Dutch investments and establishing closer ties between companies from the two countries. According to the prime minister, the strong relations and shared visions of Chisinau and The Hague must be translated into concrete projects and new opportunities for the business community and citizens.

Vasile Tofan also noted his personal connection with the Netherlands, where he studied and worked. “The Kingdom of the Netherlands has a special place in my personal journey. We want to capitalize on the excellent relations between our countries through more Dutch investments, closer connections between companies and firm cooperation as Moldova advances toward European Union accession,” Prime Minister Vasile Tofan said.
