Moldovan PM has meeting with Ambassador of Greece

The Government of the Republic of Moldova

Prime Minister Vasile Tofan today had a meeting with Ambassador Greece to Moldova Nikolaos Krikos. The officials discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.

An important topic of the discussions focused on the European integration agenda of Moldova. Prime Minister Vasile Tofan thanked Greece for its constant support of the country’s European path and reiterated the government’s commitment to continue reforms and advance in the accession process. In the context, the Greek side expressed its readiness to continue providing technical assistance for the implementation of reforms and for strengthening the institutional capacities of Moldova.

The interlocutors also discussed developing economic cooperation and attracting Greek investments into Moldova’s economy, including in the IT, pharmaceutical, agritourism and medical tourism sectors.
