Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration pays working visit to Rezina district
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri, together with MP Tatiana Cucuietu, paid a working visit to the northern town of Rezina today.
At the Rezina City Hall, discussions were held with representatives of the local public administration and deconcentrated public services on the needs of the communities in the district and the development priorities of the localities placed in the Security Zone.
During the meeting, the sides addressed the problems faced by the authorities and residents of the district, as well as the ways central institutions can contribute to their resolution. The deputy PM reiterated the authorities’ readiness to maintain a constant dialogue with local representatives and to support projects that improve living conditions and the population’s access to quality public services.
On this occasion, the officials visited the Public Medical-Sanitary Institution Rezina Health Centre, for which, through the 2026 State Reintegration Activities Programme, 1.5 million lei was allocated for the purchase of a digital X-ray machine. The new medical equipment will contribute to modernizing the diagnostic process and improving the quality of services provided to patients.
The medical services provided by the Rezina Health Centre benefit both the residents of the town and district of Rezina, as well as citizens from the town of Rabnita and other localities of Moldova’s Transnistrian region. The investment reflects the objective of the State Reintegration Activities Programme to support projects with a direct impact on the population and to expand access for citizens on both banks of the Dniester River to modern, high-quality public services.
