Moldovan president awards state distinctions on Independence Day
President Maia Sandu has signed a decree on the occasion of Independence Day, granting state distinctions to citizens and institutions that distinguished themselves through their work in various fields, such as education, culture, public administration, defense and security, rule of law and public order, mass media and energy.
The distinctions were awarded as a sign of high appreciation for the exceptional merits towards the state, for professionalism and intensive activity carried out in areas essential to strengthening the rule of law and developing Moldova, for substantial contributions to promoting cultural and national values, as well as the image and interests of the country internationally.
