Moldovan parliament speaker says heads of diplomatic missions promoters of Moldova, its goal of European integration
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has participated in a meeting of the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Moldova from abroad. The event was organized by the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE).
"Our diplomatic mission representatives are the promoters of the country and our goal of European integration," said the parliament speaker.
Igor Grosu also noted that he appreciated the effort made by the country's diplomatic missions to stand by the citizens. Their efforts are focused on facilitating connections with Moldova and maintaining interest in what is happening in the country.
"I am happy to know that Moldova has reliable representatives in the countries of the world. Now, we need their help more than ever, in order to promote Moldova and to speak everywhere about our determination to join the EU," emphasized Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.
The annual meeting of the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Moldova abroad provides a framework for analyzing regional and global developments, strengthening interinstitutional coordination and setting the action priorities of the diplomatic missions and consular offices for the upcoming period. The event focused on advancing the European path of Moldova, strengthening security and the economic development of the country.
