Moldovan deputy PM has meetings in Bucharest with officials of Foreign Affairs Ministry, Presidential Administration of Romania
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri, during a working visit to Bucharest, today had meetings with State Secretary for Strategic and Global Affairs of Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Ana Tinca, as well as with Presidential Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Marius Lazurca.
The discussions focused on recent developments in the process of settling the Transnistrian conflict, the regional security context, as well as the coordination of efforts in support of the stability and resilience of Moldova.
The deputy PM expressed appreciation for the constant support provided to Moldova, including in the process of European integration, the consolidation of state institutions and the implementation of development projects with a direct impact on citizens.
At the end of the meetings, the sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between Moldova and Romania, in order to promote regional stability and advance the process of the peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, with full observance of Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
