Chisinau, July 21. /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu had a farewell meeting with Ambassador of Estonia to Moldova, residing in Bucharest, Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The officials discussed the internal situation and the parliamentary agenda, as well as Estonia's contribution to obtaining EU candidate status for the Republic of Moldova. "The experience of the EU states is important to us, and Estonia can help us with expertise on the digitization of public services and not only," he said.
The meeting focused on the progress Moldova has made in implementing the recommendations formulated by the European Commission.
The speaker wished Ambassador Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra success in her new position as director of the Estonian Center for International Development. "We hope Moldova will continue to be a priority on the agenda."
