Government to fund 30 projects in localities from Security Zone through country reintegration program for 2026

30 community and regional development projects and initiatives will receive funding from the Government through the Country Reintegration Program for 2026. The list of projects was approved today by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The program provides financing for investments aimed at modernizing educational, medical, cultural, and sports institutions, as well as measures designed to strengthen community resilience and increase energy efficiency.

Among the projects to improve educational infrastructure are: renovation of the roof of Lucian Blaga Theoretical High School in Tiraspol; the purchase of two school transport units; renovation of the canteen of Ștefan cel Mare Gymnasium in the village of Molovata, Dubăsari district; and repair of the sanitary blocks at Kindergarten No. 5 in the city of Rezina. A number of projects also target the renovation of social facilities: rehabilitation of the heating system at the Placement Center for Elderly Persons and Persons with Disabilities in Cocieri, Dubăsari district; procurement of equipment for the Rezina Health Center; repair of the Family Doctors’ Office in the village of Doroțcaia, Dubăsari district; and other similar projects.

The program also includes the provision of financial support to partially compensate for losses incurred by owners and holders of agricultural land in Dubăsari district, affected by illegal fees charged by the Tiraspol structures at unauthorized checkpoints.

Between 2011 and 2025, 15 government programs for the reintegration of the country were implemented, through which 616 projects were financed, with a total value of over 218 million lei.
