Moldovan president meets children from Stauceni, visits settlement's mayoralty on Children’s Day
President Maia Sandu today visited the Stauceni settlement, where she took part in activities organized on the occasion of International Children’s Day and visited the newly renovated Stauceni mayoralty.
The head of state spent time with local children, who painted, sang, danced and enjoyed the activities prepared for the celebration, in an atmosphere full of energy and good cheer.
“Their smiles reminded us how beautiful it is when children can give free rein to their emotions, imagination and creativity – and how important it is for them to enjoy every moment,” President Maia Sandu noted.
Also today, the head of state visited the new Stauceni mayoralty’s building, recently renovated and modernized, in order to provide citizens with better public services. Thus, the residents of Stauceni will have access to all mayoralty’s services in a new, modern building, constructed from the ground up in record time and equipped to high standards.
“With such courageous administrations and a lot of hard work, we are modernizing the entire country – community by community,” Maia Sandu said.
