11th Parliament hosted over 120 official delegations over four years

In 2021 - 2025, Parliament hosted over 120 official delegations from various countries around the world, including 20 speakers.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, during the four years of mandate, there were the first official visits to the Republic of Moldova by Speakers from Austria, France, Ireland and Slovenia. Chisinau hosted high-level visits from parliamentary counterparts from Romania, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, as well as the Baltic and Nordic countries (NB8).

Among the most significant moments was the visit of European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, who delivered a speech to the full assembly, reaffirming the European Union's support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.

In 2022, the first joint session of the Moldovan Parliament and the Romanian Parliament was organized, concluded with the signing of a joint declaration. Subsequently, there were several interparliamentary meetings and joint sessions between the standing committees of the two parliaments.

In 2023, the Parliament hosted meetings of the foreign affairs and European affairs committee presidents from EU member states, Ukraine, Georgia and NB8.

In 2024, on Europe Day, a joint visit of the friendship group presidents from EU member states' parliaments was organized, focusing on support for the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European area.

Parliament also hosted sessions of international parliamentary organizations and bilateral meetings, such as RM-EU Parliamentary Association Committee, RM-Poland Parliamentary Assembly, the Central European Initiative and the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie.

The 11th Parliament began its term on 11 July 2021, and ended after four years. Until the new legislature is formed, the Parliament retains its representation, control and internal organization duties.
