President met with DOR camp participants
On International Youth Day, which is celebrated today, President Maia Sandu met with nearly 100 participants of DOR camp – diaspora children and young people, coming from 16 countries, who have rediscovered Moldova over the past 10 days.
The head of state encouraged the young people to use their energy and creativity to make Moldova known to the world, to be ambassadors of the country, and to stay connected with what is happening here.
DOR is a program dedicated to both diaspora children and young people and those from the Republic of Moldova and is organized by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through the Diaspora Relations Office. This program aims to establish an emotional connection with the Republic of Moldova, promote and preserve national traditions and values. Starting this year, due to the increasing number of participation requests, the program is organized in two editions.
