
Exhibition concerning safety on vacation staged on Chisinau-based Great National Assembly Square
Moldovan citizens from both the country and abroad, who are home during this period, on August 16 are invited to the Great National Assembly Square for an exhibition of the institutions in charge of ensuring public order and safety.
Between 10:00 and 18:00, visitors will be able to watch practical intervention demonstrations, technical presentations, special vehicles and equipment of the Police, rescuers and firefighters. The event also features topic-related games and workshops on road safety for children.
Alongside employees of the Interior Ministry (MAI), representatives from the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health and the Customs Service will participate in the event, presenting useful procedures for passengers, emergency medical services and measures to prevent incidents.
This action is part of a string of events dedicated to Diaspora Days, which take place throughout August, when many Moldovans living abroad return home.
