
Petrol and diesel getting cheaper
Fuels are becoming cheaper. On 14 August, drivers will pay by 0.07 lei less for a liter of diesel, and the petrol price decreases by 0.03 lei.
According to data of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), tomorrow, a liter of petrol will cost at most 23.14 lei.
At the same time, diesel becomes cheaper by 0.07 lei and will cost a maximum of 19.72 lei.
The maximum retail prices for the main standard petroleum products are set by ANRE, taking into account the average value of Platts quotations, the official average exchange rate of the national currency against the dollar, the specific commercial margin, the excise duty rate, and the VAT rate.
