
CEC registered first electoral competitor for 28 September parliamentary elections
The Central Electoral Commission /CEC/ today registered 101 candidates for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party for the parliamentary elections on 28 September 2025.
According to the CEC, the party's electoral symbol was also registered for participation in the parliamentary elections on 28 September 2025, the party's representative in the Central Electoral Commission for the electoral period was confirmed, and the person responsible for finances (treasurer) for the electoral campaign during this scrutiny was confirmed.
Candidates registered for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, who fall under the provisions of art. 16 (3) of the Electoral Code no. 325/2022, will suspend their activity from the position they hold during the electoral campaign. Failure to suspend from office will lead to the cancellation of the registration and exclusion of the respective candidate from the list of the electoral competitor.
The electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections will begin on 29 August 2025.
The parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova will take place on 28 September 2025.
