Danish MPs to visit Chisinau Parliament early next week
A delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament will visit Moldova on 22–24 February. The visit is led by committee’s chair Christian Friis Bach, and aims to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen parliamentary cooperation.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the Danish MPs will hold meetings with President Maia Sandu, Speaker Igor Grosu, as well as deputy speakers and chairs of parliamentary committees, including Doina Gherman, Marcel Spatari and Lilian Carp. The discussions will focus on the European integration path of the Republic of Moldova and cooperation at the legislative level.
The visit agenda also includes meetings with Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri, Minister of Defence Anatolie Nosatîi, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the leadership and students of Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy.
