The decisions on election of deputies Doina Gherman and Vlad Bătrîncea as Vice Presidents of the Parliament were published in the Official Journal today.
Moreover, the Official Journal also published the decision on numerical and nominal composition of the parliament standing bureau. It will consist of 15 members.
The same issue also publishes the decision on the establishment of the Parliament's standing committees and their numerical and nominal composition. Thus, in the new Parliament, 12 standing committees will operate, reflecting the main areas of the institution's activity and contributing to the efficiency of the legislative process.
The standing committees have between five and 11 members and are responsible for analyzing legislative drafts, developing opinions and reports, and exercising parliamentary oversight over the implementation of laws and public policies.
The decisions were adopted in the inaugural session of the new Parliament, which began on 22 October and continued on 30 October.
