Leader of electoral bloc RENATO USATÎI exercised right to vote
Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/- Leader of the RENATO USATII electoral bloc Renato Usatii exercised his right to vote in Munich, Germany.
A statement issued by the party reads that Usatii voted for "resetting the state".
"I voted so that in the next election the citizens who are in the diaspora can vote with their children and parents, being in the Republic of Moldova. I voted for the electronic vote, for the postal vote, for the modernization plan of the country, for the revival of the professional-technical schools, I voted to make a rule in the state budget ", said Usatii.
He said he chose to vote in Germany to be closer to the diaspora. "I voted with those who left their children not to go on trips, but out of necessity," Usatii said.
Today, Moldovan citizens elect new composition of the country's Legislature, in the snap parliamentary elections. The election is attended by 23 electoral contestants - 20 political parties, two electoral blocs and an independent candidate.
To validate the elections, the presence of at least one third of the voters registered in the electoral lists is required at the polls.
