
Moldovan Audiovisual Coordination Council to have three new members
Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - Corneliu Mihalache, Iulian Rosca and Lidia Viziru today were appointed by the parliament to the office of members of the Audiovisual Coordination Council (CCA).
The three candidates were selected following a public contest held by the parliamentary commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media. Ten persons were admitted to the interview exam: Lidia Viziru, Iulian Rosca, Vitalie Bujnita, Nicolae Spataru, Nicolae Fabian, Viorel Molea, Marcel Marin, Corneliu Mihalache, Victoria Son and Leonid Smolnitchi.
The contest for filling the three vacant positions of CCA member was announced following the expiration, on 16 November 2018, of the mandates of the Council’s members, Iurie Colesnic, Cristina Duca and Olga Barbalata.
Under the legislation, the members of the Audiovisual Coordination Council are appointed by the parliament for a mandate of six years.
