
Chisinau, Nov 6 /MOLDPRES/- After a break of several weeks, lawmakers are back to meetings. Parliament standing bureau approved the agenda of plenary sessions for November 8-15.
Thus, on Friday, starting at 10:00 am, the MPs will examine several drafts on the adjustment of national legislation to the European acquis. The legislative initiatives concern the provision of digital content and digital services; the freedom of establishment of service providers and the freedom to provide services; the policy of the aquaculture sector; the amendment of the regulatory framework on the single shareholder, as well as the framework on bank recovery and resolution.
The parliament will also ratify a number of agreements, including the agreement with Canada on financial assistance amounting to 120 million Canadian dollars; the agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD) on budget support to finance the transition of the Republic of Moldova to a green economy; the Protocol amending the Convention for avoiding double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion on income and capital, concluded with the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Another agreement to be proposed for ratification concerns World Bank financing for the energy renovation of 46 schools across the country and the modernization of the centralized heating system in Chisinau. The agreement on the establishment in our country of a branch of Angel Kanchev University in Ruse, Bulgaria, will also be ratified.
In the next sessions, the MPs will also consider the law on insolvency, the law on seeds, the law on the status of the military, the law on the organization and conduct of tourism, the law on museums, the law on payment for air pollution, the law on social inclusion of persons with disabilities, the law on the Energy Vulnerability Fund.
