Poland willing to offer military equipment for two units of National Army

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- Poland is willing to provide the National Army with military equipment necessary for operations of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion and Special Forces Battalion “Fulger”. Polish Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz made the statement at a working meeting with his counterpart from Moldova, Anatol Salaru.

Antoni Macierewicz also said that his country was available to expand the offer of programmes on training servicemen from Moldova in specialties needed by the National Army.

The officials also tackled issues related to military cooperation betwen the two armies, including the possibility to sign a cooperation protocol between the defense ministries of Moldova and Poland.

Salaru participates in the 24th issue of the international exhibition in defense industry (MSPO-2016), held in Kilce, Poland.
