
EU official announces organization of Moldova – European Union Summit on 4 July in Chișinău
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that a Moldova – European Union Summit will be organized on July 4 in Chișinău.
The announcement was made in the context of the sixth edition of the European Political Community (EPC) Summit, organized on May 16, in the capital of Albania, Tirana.
Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the officials gathered in Tirana reaffirmed the support for Moldova and European future.
“The people of Moldova chose freedom over oppression, hope over fear, and the future over the past. In Tirana, we reaffirmed our support for Moldova and its European future. We look forward to the next Moldova-EU summit on July 4 in Chișinău,” wrote Ursula von der Leyen on platform X.
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu participated on May 16, in the sixth edition of the EPC Summit, held in Tirana.
