
As many as 109 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2,614 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, 109 cases of infection with the new coronavirus being confirmed. So far, 253,845 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, one is among medical workers.
In total, 1,248 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 149 are in extremely serious condition (26 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).
At the same time, 1,467 people are being treated at home with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 14,299 are under home supervision.
Another 193 people were treated. In total, 244,857 people were treated by COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 11 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 6,027.
