
As many as 61 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,752 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 61 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 258,007 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two of all new cases registered today are among medical employees (two physicians).
As many as 206 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 57 are in extremely serious condition (ten patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 543 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,356 are under supervision at home.
Another 44 people have been treated. As many as 250,957 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another one death triggered by COVID-19 and 6,227 people have died of coronavirus in all.
