As many as 693 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 4 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,176 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 693 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 235,087 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), six out of all cases are medical employees: physicians - 2, medical assistants –2 and auxiliary staff -2.
As many as 3,996 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 319 are in extremely serious condition (53 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 9,645 persons are treated at home with easy and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,122 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,532 people have been treated. As many as 215,091 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 44 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,136 people have died of coronavirus in all.
