DOC // Decree on appointment of Dorin Recean as special envoy published in Official Journal
The decree appointing former Prime Minister Dorin Recean as Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Moldova for development and resilience has been published in the Official Journal.
According to the document, the special envoy will have the role of supporting the strategic initiatives of the Presidency in the fields of development, state modernization, and strengthening institutional resilience, contributing to the coordination of national efforts in these areas.
The position of special envoy will enhance the activities of the presidential institution by involving specialists with in-depth expertise in strategic fields for the country.
Dorin Recean served as Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova from February 2023 to November 2025 and has extensive experience in the areas of security and public governance, including roles as Minister of Internal Affairs, presidential security advisor, and Secretary of the Supreme Security Council.
