Moldova's National Army presents strategic priorities at annual meeting of diplomatic, military corps accredited in Moldova

Representatives of the diplomatic and military corps accredited in Moldova, the  leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the National Army, today participated in the annual meeting organized at the Agency for Science and Military Memory. The event was attended by diplomats and attachés from the member states of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the meeting aimed to present the progress, priorities and strategic directions of the National Army, as well as to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of defense.

The agenda of discussions included six topics of strategic interest: regional security, defense policy, international partnerships, cooperation with the European Union, the transformation process of the National Army and the development of military capabilities.

The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that open dialogue with international partners contributes to the modernization of the defense sector and the strengthening of national security in a changing regional and global context.

Minister Anatolie Nosatii thanked the partner states for their support, especially in expanding the participation of Moldovan soldiers in international peacekeeping missions and in developing the defense capabilities of Moldova.
