EcoContact organizes photo exhibition - Focus on Nature: Protected Areas Through Lens
Focus on Nature: Protected Areas Through Lens is the topic of a photo exhibition organized by EcoContact, hosted by Shopping MallDova center on 2-21 May 2025. It includes images from three protected areas in Moldova: Orhei National Park, Lower Dniester National Park and Codrii Natural Reserve, aiming to promote the value of natural heritage and raise awareness about the role of protected areas.
According to EcoContact, the photos were taken over a year, capturing these natural areas across the four seasons, highlighting representative landscapes, species of fauna and flora, as well as the fragility of natural balances.
'Through this exhibition, we aim to contribute to a better understanding of the importance of protected areas for biodiversity and quality of life,' say the organizers.
The event is organized by EcoContact and Shopping MallDova. The activity is part of the project Improving the Management of Protected Areas in the Republic of Moldova through Institutional Development, Capacity Building, and Habitat Restoration, implemented by EcoContact in partnership with Biotica Ecological Society, with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
