Moldova strengthens international police cooperation through agreement with IPA

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) of the Republic of Moldova has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Police Association (IPA) during an event attended by representatives from ten countries. The document was signed by State Secretary Alexandru Bejan and provides for extensive collaboration in professional training and the exchange of best practices.

According to the MAI, Moldovan police officers will gain access to international training courses, including in Germany, as well as sessions conducted by international experts who will come to the Republic of Moldova. This opportunity is aimed at both current MAI employees and future generations of police officers trained at Ștefan cel Mare Academy.

Furthermore, the agreement paves the way for exchanges of experience and joint activities between MAI members and international IPA network, promoting values such as solidarity, mutual support, and cross-border collaboration.
