Moldovan capital's city hall to buy 100 new buses
Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall considers bids for purchasing 100 new buses. The opening of the bids for the buses’ procurement took place today. Chisinau general mayor Ion Ceban has made statements to this effect.
The mayor noted that he wanted the city hall to soon have new transport units for the citizens, so that the problems existing for years are removed.
According to Ceban, there are four bids on behalf of the producers: MAZ, BMC, ISUZU and Otokar and the working group will announce the winner in the near future.
Presently, at least 300 trolley buses and about 100 buses daily move on streets of Moldova’s capital.
