Almost 800 high school graduates attended university fair in Edineț
Nearly 800 high school graduates from the districts of Edineț, Briceni, Ocnița and Dondușeni participated in the first university fair in the Republic of Moldova, organized at the House of Culture in Edineț. The event is part of the national campaign Study in Moldova, launched by the Ministry of Education and Research, aiming to promote higher education in local institutions.
Present at the event, Adriana Cazacu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Research, emphasized the importance of the campaign.
“Our goal is to encourage more high school graduates to choose a university in the Republic of Moldova. We have quality educational institutions, and through such events, we aim to present all available options to young people,” she stated.
In Edineț, young people had the opportunity to explore the educational offerings of local universities, participate in career guidance workshops, and enjoy a performance by artist Kapushon.
Participants in the event interacted directly with specialists in fields such as pedagogy, medicine, journalism, IT, entrepreneurship and agriculture.
The event in Edineț is one of the ten educational offer fairs planned within the Study in Moldova campaign. The next ones will take place in Soroca and Căușeni on March 22, in Bălți and Călărași on March 29, in Orhei and Cahul on April 5, and similar events will be organized on April 12 in Strășeni and Comrat.
