Over 5,700 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova
Chisinau, March 28 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February -28 March the Office for Migration and Asylum received 5,748 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the same period in our country on the Moldovan-Ukrainian segment of the border entered 348 867 Ukrainian citizens. About 251,460 left and 94,411 Ukrainians remained in the country.
In total, there are 98,300 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 48,379 are minors.
