The Republic of Moldova is promoting its gastronomy, traditions, and culture in Paris as part of an exhibition held from September 10 to 13 at Place de la Concorde. Traditional products and dishes are being presented at the country’s stand, while on Sunday, September 13, the “Unirea” and “Dance Pop Stars” ensembles will perform a folk dance show.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in France, visitors to the stand can discover several specialties from the national cuisine, including stuffed cabbage rolls, stew with polenta, baked and pan-fried pies, traditional ring-shaped bread, black baba cake, and “Cușma lui Guguță.” The selection also includes wine, homemade fruit compote, and other artisanal products.
The products are presented by Bakery Café, Galerie Moldave à Paris, local artisans and CODRU restaurant.
The Republic of Moldova’s exhibition space at this year’s edition was provided by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the National Tourism Office, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in France. The stand was designed and created by Catherine Costas.
The Republic of Moldova’s participation in the event aims to promote the country’s gastronomy, culture, and hospitality to an international audience.
