Situation stays critical on more roads of Moldova, roadmen demand assistance of entrepreneurs with snow-clearing vehicles

Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - The situation stays critical on more road segments because of the of accumulation of snow, which reaches the height of two metres in some areas, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) said today evening.  
According to roadmen, at 17:00, the movement was blocked or difficult on nine sectors and namely:  sector Anenii Noi, G110 Gisca – Zolotievcа – Pervomaisc – Gangura – Razeni – M3, G112 R2 – Tantareni – Geamana – Nicolaevca – G110, km 10,000 – 16,000; sector Comrat, R23 Basarabeasca – Comrat; sector Stefan Voda, G116.1 R30 – Stefan Voda – Alava – Saiti –G117; (access to Marianca village); sector Cantemir, G131 R35 – Bobocica – G132, G133 G132 – Tartaul – Gotesti – R34, G134 R34 – Doina – Costangalia – G132; sector Basarabeasca, R36 Basarabeasca – Ceadar-Lunga – R29; sector Dubasari, G68 G68 – Ustia – Mаscauti – G72; sector Cainari, G119 G118 – Coscalia – Plop – Baccealia – R30, G110 Gasca – Zolotievcа – Pervomaisc – Gangura – Razeni – M3, G120 R26 – Ucrainca – border with Ukraine; sector Criuleni, G72 R6 – Branesti – Criuleni, G69 G68 – Ustia – Mаscauti – G72; sector Causeni, G110 Gisca – Zolotievcа – Pervomaisc – Gangura – Razeni – M3, G116 R30 – Stefan Voda – Alava – Saiti – G117, G120 R26 – Ucrainca – border with Ukraine.
„As many as 124 special vehicles, five snow cutters, about 200 road workers, 327 tons of anti-skid material (mixture of salt and sand) and  420 tons of technical salt are involved in the technological process,’’ ASD said.  
Roadmen continue taking sustained efforts to remove the thick strata of snow and de-block the access way. The snow-clearing equipment is mobilized in strategic points and the cleaning of roads is carried out 24 hours.  
In the context of the critical situation, created by the extreme weather conditions, the State Administration of Roads appealed to the support of entrepreneurs, who might help with the cleaning technology. ‘’Thus, we offer thanks to the entrepreneurs, ONUR and Automagistral Pivden Moldova, who promptly intervened on the roads M3 (Slobozia Mare), R34, R2 and R30, for roads’ de-blocking. In such difficult moments, the efficient solidarity and cooperation is the key for overcoming any obstacles,’’ the State Administration of Roads added.
