USMF 'Nicolae Testemițanu' launches drawing contest for pupils
For the fifth year in a row, Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova is launching a national drawing contest dedicated to pupils. This year's edition, USMF - through a child's eyes, is a special one, being organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the institution's founding.
The contest aims to promote health professions, healthy lifestyle and the image of USMF 'Nicolae Testemițanu' among young people. Participants are encouraged to create artistic works (drawing, painting or collage) that reflect their vision of the university, the profession of doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
The contest is open to I-XII grade pupils, including those from high schools with artistic profile or fine arts schools, in three age categories: 7-10 years old (primary education), 11-14 years old (secondary education), 15-17 years old and 18+ (high school education).
The works can be made in any technique, on paper or canvas support in A3 or A4 format. They must be sent by mail by 7 June 2025 to USMF headquarters.
Only original creations, made individually, will be accepted. A professional jury will nominate nine winners, three in each age category. The most talented participants will be awarded on the eve of Medical Worker and Pharmacist Day, held on the third Saturday of June.
All participants will receive electronic certificates, and the winners will be rewarded with diplomas. The best works will be exhibited in an online gallery on the University's website and institutional social networks.
