Changes to nominal composition of parliamentary delegations to international organizations and friendship groups

Chisinau, September 10, 2026 – MPs approved changes to the composition of several Parliamentary delegations to international and bilateral organizations, as well as to the leadership of several parliamentary friendship groups.

Adrian Băluțel was appointed co-chair of the Parliamentary Association Committee of the Republic of Moldova – European Union. Radu Marian took over as head of the Parliament's delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Olga Ursu was appointed chair of the legislature's delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

Changes were also approved to the leadership of several parliamentary friendship groups. Thus, MP Iurie Levinschi was appointed chair of the Friendship Group with Ukraine, while MP Roman Roșca became chair of the Friendship Group with Latvia.

The 12th Parliament of the Republic of Moldova has 12 delegations to international and bilateral parliamentary organizations, as well as 56 parliamentary friendship groups with other states.

According to the procedure, their membership is established based on the preferences expressed by Members of Parliament, while the chairs are appointed in accordance with the principle of proportional representation of political parties in Parliament.
