Victims of damaged block in Otaci to be compensated with about 7 million lei
Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Finance will allocate from the reserve fund of the Government to the local budget of Otaci, Ocnita district financial means worth 6,889,167 lei for the compensation of the value of the dwellings of the victims in the damaged housing block in Otaci, according to a government decision approved today.
For the allocation of the financial means stipulated in the draft of the normative act, a report was submitted on evaluation of the real estate properties from the respective housing block, elaborated by the Public Services Agency, the Cadastre Department.
This is the second block of Otaci, adjacent to the demolished block, in which on June 19 the stairs of the apartment block collapsed. Following the technical expertise report, it was found that the ground, the walls and the roof of the building are not satisfactory, concluding that the operation of the building in the current state is not recommended.
Also, the families affected by the collapse of the residential block in Otaci will receive food worth about 134 thousand lei from the Material Reserves Agency, subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
