Attention, travelers! Heavy traffic at Leușeni border crossing point on exit from Moldova

UPDATE: 14:33 // The heavy cross-border traffic at the Leușeni border crossing point has been eased. Traffic is flowing under normal conditions, with minimal border crossing times.

The Customs Service reports increased traffic of travelers and vehicles at the Leușeni border customs post, on the direction of exiting the country.

According to the customs authority, congestion is being recorded at the crossing point, and the control authorities have intervened to streamline cross-border traffic. In this context, additional control lanes have been opened, the REVERS procedure has been applied, and activity at the customs point is being carried out at maximum capacity, on six control lanes dedicated to exiting the Republic of Moldova.

Representatives of the Customs Service recommend that drivers and travelers, if possible, choose to cross the border through other crossing points, including the Costești, Leova, or Cahul customs posts.
