Chisinau, Feb. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Following the precipitation in the last hours, ice formed on some routes in the country and the intervention of road users was needed to combat it. The officials assured that currently, the accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire network of national roads.
147 road workers and 155 special vehicles were involved in snow removal. In total, 1770 tons of anti-slip material and 128 tons of technical salt were spread.
ASD warns drivers to comply with the the Road Traffic Regulation on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions. In case of difficulties, traffic participants can request the intervention of road users at the following numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.
For the next few days, meteorologists forecast snow and cooling weather.
