Silver and bronze medals for Moldova at World Sambo Cup
Athlete from the Republic of Moldova Ina Cernei won the silver medal at the World Sambo Cup, making an important step in the world of sambo for the visually impaired.
In the BVI SAMBO SVI-1 category (women, 59 kg), Ina Cernei delivered a remarkable performance, demonstrating strong technical preparation.
In the men’s category (64 kg, SVI-1), Alexandr Ursul added to Moldova’s tally with a bronze medal, after a solid competitive run in a highly contested division.
The World Sambo Cup took place on April 11–12 in Yerevan, Armenia.
