Moldova national football team learns UEFA Nations League opponents: tough group C Draw for country – Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Faroe Islands

The Moldova national football team has learned its opponents in League C of the UEFA Nations League, following the draw held in Brussels on February 12. The “Tricolours” will face Kazakhstan, Slovakia and the Faroe Islands in Group C3.

Moldova can qualify directly for League B, if it wins the group or if it finishes second and then wins a play-off against the bottom-placed team from one of the League B groups.

The full match schedule for Group C will be set later. For now, only the matchdays are known.

Competition's format

The participating teams are divided into four leagues – A, B, C and D – based on the access ranking, with some positions to be confirmed after the League C/D play-offs in March 2026.

Leagues A, B and C each consist of 16 teams, split into four groups of four. Each team will play six group matches (home and away).

League D includes six teams, divided into two groups of three, with each national team set to play four matches.
