Republic of Moldova to host EURO U17 in 2029

Republic of Moldova is set to host a final tournament of a European championship once again, after UEFA decided that EURO U17 in 2029 will be organized in our country. The announcement was made on Thursday by the UEFA Executive Committee, which approved the candidacy file submitted by the Moldovan Football Federation.

The UEFA Under 17 European Championship is considered a launching pad for future stars of European football, and the best junior national teams from the continent will come to Moldova to compete for the grand trophy.

The event marks the second European final tournament hosted by our country, after organizing Futsal EURO U19 at Chisinau Arena in 2025.
