Today Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis paid an official visit to Chișinău, where he met with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The visit marks an important moment in strengthening bilateral relations and comes against the backdrop of intensified political dialogue between the two countries.
During the joint press conference, Kyriakos Mitsotakis conveyed a clear message of support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova:
"Moldova belongs to the European family, and Greece will be a strong advocate for its accession to the European Union."
The discussion agenda included topics related to cooperation in the fields of energy, economy, and regional security, as well as support for the Moldovan diaspora in Greece.
