Another three drug stores opened in Moldova within Drug Store in Your Village project
Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - The residents of the villages of Criva (Briceni district), Iabloana and Cobani (Glodeni district) will have facilitated access to medicines, after drug stores have been opened in their villages. The drug stores are part of the Drug Store in Your Village project, initiated by the authorities.
According to the Medicine and Medical Devices Agency, the Drug Store in Your Village project brought important benefits for rural communities of Moldova. Through this project, another three villages now can enjoy a drug store in the settlement, reducing the need of trips to the district centres for buying medicines.
„Through these new locations, over 6,000 residents from rural settlements will have access to modern pharmaceutical services, including the issuance of electronic recipes and compensated medicines,’’ reads a press release issued by the institution.
According to the quoted source, about 100 new drug stores will be opened till the end of this year.
