
Căușeni residents to benefit from high-performance imaging investigations
Chisinau, Dec. 20 /MOLDPRES/- Patients of Căușeni District Hospital Ana și Alexandru will benefit from high-performance imaging investigations after the medical institution was equipped with a modern cardiac ultrasonography.
According to the National Health Insurance Company, the equipment was purchased from the means of the development and modernization fund of public medical service providers of the CNAM, following the hospital's participation in this year's investment projects competition.
The total value of the medical equipment is about 840 thousand lei, of which CNAM allocated 600 thousand lei, the Căușeni District Council - 100 thousand lei and the district hospital - 140 thousand lei.
The ultrasound allows visualization of lung, vascular and cardiac lesions, including in patients with moderate, severe or critical forms of COVID-19.
According to the hospital representatives, after the installation of the equipment, 134 investigations have already been carried out.
