Results of contest of cultural projects for 2023 announced in Moldova
Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Culture Ministry has announced the results of the contest of cultural projects, carried out by non-commercial organizations for 2023. The contest took place on the period October-December 2022, in accordance with the regulation on the way the cultural projects carried out by non-commercial organizations are financed from the state budget.
According to the Culture Ministry, 95 projects were presented at the contest, of which over 50 ones became winners.
The cultural projects were submitted to the contest for one of the following six topic-related areas: visual arts, arts of show, music, education through culture, written culture and cultural heritage.
The Culture Ministry will provide for each project financing worth up to 200,000 lei, ensuring up to 80 per cent of the cost of implementing a project. The contribution of non-commercial organizations to the project’s carrying out needs to be at least 20 per cent of the cost, from own sources or through co-financing. The winner projects will be financed identically to the points gained in terms of percentage, between 60 and 100 per cent of the sum requested from the ministry.
The project’s budget is 7 million 400,000 lei (over 350,000 euros).
