110kV Strășeni–Bobeica power line re-energized after technical faults repaired
110kV Strășeni–Bobeica Overhead Power Line has been re-energized after specialized teams repaired the technical faults. The announcement was made today by the Ministry of Energy.
According to Moldelectrica, as a result of strong wind gusts, a short circuit occurred on the power line, which led to the disconnection of Bobeica Electric Substation for a period of 59 minutes.
“The incident was managed through the action of relay protections, without additional impact on consumers beyond the mentioned interval. Moldelectrica teams intervened to locate and clear the fault, taking the necessary measures to restore the installations to the normal operating scheme and to ensure the stability of the National Power System,” Moldelectrica announced.
Also today, there were power outages recorded in the districts of Nisporeni, Fălești, Hâncești and Ungheni due to a conductor break on the circuit that supplies the Nisporeni electric substation. The fault was caused by strong winds.
Technical teams intervened to fix the problem. At 14:26, all affected consumers were resupplied with electricity via alternative circuits, including through the 110kV Țuțora (Romania) – Cioara (Moldova) line.
