Ambassador of Moldova to China: Cooperation with Guangdong Province can open new economic and investment opportunities

The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its relations with one of the most developed regions of China. Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to China Petru Frunze paid a working visit to Guangdong Province, organized at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

The Moldovan diplomat was part of a delegation composed of more than 50 ambassadors and diplomatic representatives accredited in China. The program of the visit included meetings and events organized by the leadership of Guangdong Province and the municipal authorities of Guangzhou, with the participation of representatives of the business community.

According to Ambassador Petru Frunze, the visit provided important opportunities for establishing new contacts with local authorities and the business community in the region.

"The visit offered a valuable opportunity to establish new contacts with representatives of local authorities and the business community. These relations will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Guangdong Province, including through the promotion of partnerships at the local level, attracting investments, and supporting the development of economic and trade relations for the benefit of the business environment in the Republic of Moldova," the ambassador said.

During the discussions, participants were informed about the measures implemented by the Chinese authorities and the private sector to transform Guangdong Province into one of the most important centers of economic development and innovation in China.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova believes that deepening dialogue and cooperation with this dynamic region will create favorable conditions for expanding Moldovan-Chinese relations in the economic, investment, and trade fields, offering new opportunities for companies and investors from the Republic of Moldova.
