Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Association of Producers and Exporters of Grapes from Moldova has launched a contest for the selection of producers willing to present their goods at the wholesale market Bronisze from Warsaw, Poland. The companies interested in participation are invited to apply the needed form till 10 November.

The promotion event will be organized on 21-22 November, with the support of the High Value Agriculture in Moldova Project of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the HEKS Foundation.

The Bronisze wholesale market from Poland is regarded as one of the biggest platforms for the sale of fresh fruits and vegetables. At the promotion event, an area of 21 square metres was reserved for Moldovan farmers. Here, they will discuss directly with various traders or representatives of Polish shops, in order to negotiate conditions for the supply of grapes.

Companies members of the Association of Producers and Exporters of Grapes from Moldova, which produce and/or export fresh table grapes, according to international standards, are invited to participate in the contest.

The Polish market is sufficiently attractive for the grapes produced in Moldova. In 2017, Moldova exported about 1,570 tons of grapes to Poland, against 119 tons exported in 2016.
